A response to the shipping forecast. The concept behind this is something my dad told me about people listening to the shipping forecast to fall asleep due to the sound of how it was spoken.

Hey, motherfucker. Check this shit out. This is the work of that talented douchecunt Arthur motherfucking Hirst. I’ll say his name again: Arthur motherfucking Hirst. Look at it. Good shit huh? It’s an alginate mould that was then cast in wax that he spray-painted motherfucker. That’s some technical shit. The guy knows what he’s doing. He made all the little boats out of porcelain. Multidisciplinary and shit. Can you dig it, suckaaaa? This guy can pull talent out of his arse and fashion it in to whatever form is needed. Versatile motherfucker, versatile. Head on over to his tumblr or experience an ever-lasting regret that his work never graced your motherfucking eyes.

(And he’s speaking the truth, I used to listen to the shipping forecast when I couldn’t sleep. Relaxation.)

This is a response to the movie American Gangster. The Stacks of 100 dollar bills are made from plaster. They represent 20% which is something that was taken from the film.

Hold on a minute guys… This is Arthur mother fucking Hirst! The guy is the imagination incarnate. He is an inspiration to countless mother fuckers around the mother fucking globe. From Exeter to Bristol, the name Arthir Hirst paints a portrait of class and style in every bitches mind. He lives graphics. He breaths design. So much so that when he shits, a new type face is excreted. (He’s not too bad on the eyes either)

A spread I did for Stella Magazine in the UK.  The article is about how easily pornography can be accessed by children/teens these days and how that’s affecting the new generation.  AD Jason Morris hinted he was looking for something like the Free Play OPED piece I did for the Boston Globe.  Usually it’s kind of a bummer when an AD just wants their idea done with your hand, but in this case I was quite happy to play along.

But seriously, a friend asked me to help him out by linking the design website he had to set up as part of his degree. He’s pretty good at what he does and if you click the link good karma might just come your way.
