Nila wanted to take a trip to Pitt Rivers museum today so I obliged. It was a very good day :)
Re-posting this picture to commemorate my great-grandma who sadly passed away today. She was 96. I’m glad I got to see her when I was in the Philippines in August, even if she didn’t speak English, and I didn’t speak Tagalog.
Favourite photo I took this year.
Travelogue. Epilogue Post #29.
Seeing photos my relatives have posted on Facebook have been making me miss this little chap. He’s 9 months old now. But, even as he grows, he’ll always be a six month old baby in my head.

An unintentionally over-exposed group portrait of my mother, sister, granny, great-granny (who was 96) and other relatives in a village called San Pedro. I love that I took so many photos whilst in the Philippines. Photos that I forget about and stumble across whilst perusing my photos, hence the recurrence of the ‘travelogue’ months after my actual trip. As I said before, nostalgia…

A shot taken from the edge of Intramurous, Manila.

A photo of Mt. Mayon taken out of the window of the coach that was taking us on the 5 hour journey to my lola’s house out in the country side. This piece of rock really did dominated the landscape for miles. It was the first volcano/mountain I’d ever seen in real life.
Travelogue. Epilogue Post #25.
Stray dogs woken up from an afternoon naps by the sound of the motorbike and sidecar we rode in back to my tita’s house. They grudgingly wandered off after we arrived, probably to find a quieter spot to dog-nap.
Travelogue. Epilogue Post #24.
The slightly melancholy god that resided at my tita’s house in Legazpi.
